Its purpose is to inform Pierpont Bay residents about key local issues and to work with its members and communicate to the City Council and City Management on policies and projects that enhance the quality of life of its residents. In August 2018, the PBCC membership voted to expand its boundaries from just the Pierpont Lanes and to extend membership to residents of District 7 coastal neighborhoods, which includes Pierpont, Vista del Mar, Ventura Keys, Portside Ventura Harbor, Ventura Marina Mobile Home Park, Paseo de Playa Condominiums, and the Beachfronter Townhouse Apartments.
